The Bible Way To Heaven

God wants you to be 100% that when you die you will go to heaven. That’s why the Bible says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life” I John 5:13

What must you know from the Bible to be 100% sure?

  1. Realize you are a sinner. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. (Romans 3:23)
  2. There is a penalty for sin. “For the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23a) “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” (Revelation 20:14) Have you ever got caught speeding? What happened? You broke the law and you had to pay the price. Well God has a set of laws found in His Word and we’ve all broken them. Just like when you brake our country’s law there is a penalty when you brake God’s law there is a penalty. God says the penalty for sin is death. Not just physical death but spiritual death in a place called hell.
  3. Jesus paid the penalty for you. ”But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) A lot of people know that Christ died on the cross and rose again, but they don’t know why He died. The bible tells us that He took our penalty upon Himself.
  4. It’s a gift! “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) You can’t work for a gift. At Christmas time do you make your children earn their gifts? No, it wouldn’t be a gift if they had to work for it. A gift is free to the receiver but it costs the giver something. God says eternal life is a gift. You can’t work for it, go to church for it, do good works for it, it’s absolutley free!
  5.  Receive the gift! “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10) If you believe in your heart everything you just read tell the Lord that. Admit to Him you are a hell deserving sinner. Tell Him there is nothing you can do to save yourself and ask Him to save you and take you to Heaven when you die.
